Mediterranean in Asheville @ Rezaz

Asheville Scallops Seafood

Located in Biltmore Village near downtown Asheville, Rezaz, a Mediterranean restaurant, was on our to-go list.  We’ve been looking forward to an opportunity to check the place out.  We’ve finally made it!!  Visiting Rezaz mid-week during late lunch time, we enjoyed quality food, great atmosphere, at a reasonable price.

We arrived for a late lunch, nearly 2pm.  While their website indicated open for lunch until 2, they didn’t even mention it and seated us without problems – even though we weren’t finished until well after 2.  Upon walking in, we were cheerfully greeted and seated in the perfect spot.  From the lunch menu, we selected “Seared New England Scallops” & “Greek Lamb Keftedes Kabob”. They were both tasty.  Portions perfect for lunch.  Everything tasted freshly prepared, lamb and scallops were cooked with precision. The ambiance was thoughtful, and it was a pleasure to be seated in the private ‘storefront window’.

Beat Asheville Dessert Cannoli cake

For our dessert, we shared a piece of “cannoli” cake.

Rezaz’s dinner menu includes exciting dishes such as Spanish dish “Paella” among other delicious-sounding selections.  We will definitely have to come back for dinner!
